"Drove out here from Cheektowaga for a different place but decided to go here instead. I had the taco salad and it was awesome!! The person I was with got a beef taco and a steak taco and loved the beef taco especially! Will definitely go back here! They have a cantaloupe drink there that is amazing!!!"

"Awesome food. We are from El Paso and driving north while moving for a new job. We happened to stop in Batavia along the way. I have to say we were skeptical seeing Mexican food this far north claiming to be authentic, all we can say is these homies rocked it!!!"

"I love Los Compadres and have had great food and customer service since day 1! They have had quick delivery since closing down due to Covid-19. Today an order of rice and beans/cheese was left out of our delivery and after calling to alert the restaurant, the person answering the phone offered to deliver the forgotten food themselves for free. They also included a cake for the trouble. Thank you to the staff for reliably delicious food and outstanding customer service!"

"My wife and I were visiting some breweries and wineries in the area. It was the end of the day and we were in need of something to eat for supper. I did a quick search and stopped when I saw there was a Mexican place close by, my wife and I both love Mexican food. This place did not disappoint us. The food was awesome and plentiful, we couldn’t even finish it all. There was a minor problem with my wife’s order but the staff was quick to fix it. Los Compadres is a true Mexican restaurant. If you LOVE Mexican food than you will love the food here. I would come here again for sure."

"Fantastic little place! The owner greeted us at the door with a big, welcoming smile and guided us to the ordering counter. Small selection of dishes but everything is authentic, fresh and amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the experience."

"I was SO pleasantly suprised by this place! I travel all over the east coast and when you're this far north (especially in a smaller town) it's hard to find good "real" Mexican food. Well this place is awesome, the Salsa was delicious, we had choriqueso which was good, my husband had tacos wich he enjoyed, (not sure what type) I had 2 lengua and 2 carne asada tacos. They were fantastic.. the lengua was so tender and delicious. Maybe the best I've had. I can say we will def be going back!"

"Delicious non-chain restaurant. Order your tacos and wait while munching on chips frm the salsa bar. Seems like they have every kind of taco plus some great variations like pork & pineapple. Salsas are very spicy. Plus they have homemade horchata and tamarindo (non-carbonated). Delicious!"

"I went here for the first time the other day and it was soo good! First, the staff are extremely friendly and you can help yourself to free chips and salsa while you wait for your order. I got the Pastor, Carne Asada, and Barbacoa tacos and was amazed at how delicious they were. It was the perfect end to a busy day."

"Fresh ingredients, cooked to order. Good prices. More expensive than fast food, but cheaper and quicker than a typical sit down restaurant. I loved the warm soft corn tortillas for tacos. I wish I lived closer so I could try the whole menu, as Mexican is my favorite cuisine."

"I live in Ogden, but work in Batavia. I never would have found this place, but my boss took a bunch of us to lunch at Los Compadres. LOCATION: In the heart of Batavia off of Main St. There's a small parking lot, but you can park on the street. The restaurant is clean and the staff is very friendly! FOOD: You can watch them prepare your food! I like that you can see what you're getting. The food is fresh and delicious! I had a Taco Bowl with Chicken. The flavors were awesome. The portions are huge as well. You can get chips and salsas - may choices. Beware of the hot dip though... Holy Cow I think my lips are still on fire! COST: Very reasonable. I'm impressed with this small restaurant. I'll definitely try to make it here again!"

"This place is SO GOOD! I have lived in Central America and can tell you this is authentic, good, Mexican food. They have options of both corn or flour tortillas and a huge variety of options of meat. Also, they have breakfast all day and if one hasn't experienced Mexican breakfast now is the time to do so! The menu is a perfect size and has every option for anyone who is craving Mexican, especially those who have lived there. They also have a dessert menu and fresh juices. There are also vegetarian options and there are options that are seemingly gluten free although I would ask first. Margaritas a great price and beer options as well. Overall, great food, fun atmosphere, and a friendly staff."

"Outstanding food! The tacos are *huge* and unless you have a likewise *huge* appetite, you may want to order one less than your tummy thinks it wants. I've had the chorizo, ground beef, and chicken. Each delicious, but my favorite is the chorizo. A family member is vegan and was concerned about options, but alas, their veggie tacos are potato, green pepper, and onion - dairy free as long as you say no gracias to the sour cream and cheese. Their chips and salsa bar are self serve and there is everything frm mild to flaming hot. We've been twice and will definitely return soon."

"Obviously my favorite Taqueria. The pork is cooked perfectly, not dry. They offer free nachos in a bag with an array of Salsas to choose frm. The prices are good, the food is delicious. They have your favorite Mexican soft drinks and they serve beer. Why are you still reading this review? Go now I tell ya!"
